The Rogers Police Department began this program in 2013 with the purpose to obtain and maintain current information on loved ones and family members of Roger's citizens that have a potential to wander from home. This program is designed only as a precaution in the unfortunate event that someone wanders away.
The database gives officers who search for or locate individuals a rapid means to identify them and return then safely. It also provides officers with fast access to personal information and photographs in the event that someone is reported missing. As initial officers are responding to the call, other officers can access photographs of the missing person and assist in the search.
This program is strictly voluntary and free of charge. All information is kept strictly confidential among Rogers PD employees.
